ZWÄI (2) figures meet in a room. Both figures are preoccupied with their own perceptions. He is in search of perfect order, she longs for the lightness of height. Both characters need each other's influence to achieve their own goals. Conflicts are pre-programmed. Meanly, tactically and lovingly, the reality of the other character is affected. There is bickering, annoyance, love. In the process, the conflicts are creatively resolved until the characters finally realise that they need each other if they are to fulfil their dreams. ZWÄI is a parable about life and love. The relationship of the two performing characters reflects different encounters of two people in our society. Depending on the social, cognitive and emotional background of the spectator, a situation is perceived differently. The inclusion of everyday objects for artistic and theatrical expression creates a special closeness to the reality of the audience. A rope, two pulleys, a table, a lot of bottles and two people. What do you expect to happen? Certainly not what the two artists do with the materials. They deal with the everyday props in a cheeky and innovative way. Bottles, rope and a table act as a common thread throughout the piece. They are assigned to the characters and take on an important role in telling the story.
