Vol d'usage (theft of use) Circus duo for aerial straps and acrobatic bicycle under a big top It is a simple story, the simple story of a man leaving his house in the morning, with his bicycle in his hand. It's a memory we all have. It's a bowl, a beautiful bowl. You get up and sit down on the kerb again. Or something like that... The memory, after an accident, comes back from far away, in little pieces. So it takes time to tell the story of how you started to fly. In short, it's two men who go round and round, telling you what they don't remember very well. How do you make a bike fly? It is from this original question, which came like an impulse, that the project was born and the desire to create it together. Very quickly, the meeting of the acrobatic bicycle and the aerial straps seemed obvious. It was the beginning of a real challenge. How to invent a vocabulary linking the straps, a discipline whose imagery is the spectacular demonstration of strength by generally working on verticality, and that of the acrobatic bicycle, a discipline of balance turning on a horizontal platform? This is the origin of a real research on flight, the precision of the movement of weights, the relationship to the ground and to gravity. Theft of use: legal term; short-term borrowing without prior declaration of a vehicle for the purpose of immediate and necessary use.
