SILVER BOOM is a performance presented by senior women in public spaces. The piece questions the relationship between urban space, gender and age. The work is interested in the emergence of a collective consciousness through the celebration of experienced women in the urban landscape.The participatory performance deconstructs the norms of motion in the city and makes us more aware of the experienced citizens living among us. What can we as a society learn from these people? What wisdom and stories do these women have to tell us?
