On stage, on the dance floor or in the street, "Clochard" is a show featuring clowning, juggling and music. Three tramps, three lives, one shared space, one audience, how much everyday life? What elements make up the life of a tramp? And yours? What concerns, needs, priorities, desires, ambitions, etc., which nobody knows about (or what to do with) in the end? The tramp is one of the symbols of society and its limits. The tramp is as much at the edge as he is represents the most basic relationship between man and his natural needs. Confined to an infinite space, his links to 'normal' society are a field of exploration of humanity and its social organisation. In "Clochard", Cie 100 Doutes tells the day-to-day story of three tramps who, as serious and comic clowns, live their daily lives, relive their pasts, feel them, question them with lightness, without seriousness, with humour, without criticism, share them, without answers. The show tackles fundamental questions with hindsight, real characters who use props to symbolize their place in humanity.
