Less Kuerdas is a contemporary circus collective, merging aerial rope with live music, proposing audience-interactive projects. We understand live performance as an experience between performers, audience and space. Stage and creative process become a space to practice more shared and intimate ways of being.
Less Kuerdas è un collettivo di circo contemporaneo che unisce la corda aerea alla musica dal vivo, proponendo progetti interattivi. Consideriamo la performance come un’esperienza tra i performer, il pubblico e lo spazio. Il palco diventa uno spazio per praticare modi di essere più condivisi e intimi.

Through aerial rope and live music, drift is a contemporary circus performance that invites us to build a collective body. Playing with alternative audience perspectives, we explore how care, risk and connection can create a shared and intimate space.

As a setting for 'drift' we are looking for all kind of halls with rigging possibilities. There is an outside version on an aerial structure possible, as well as an adaptation of the piece in a circus tent.

"suspended body, shared body" is a performative triptych by the aerial rope collective Less Kuerdas. Through the creation of shared and intimate spaces, the collective uses two experimental performance and one workshop to explore the role of bodies within public space. In this process, new perspectives emerge on community, spatial dynamics, and the relationship between art and democracy. The work invites audiences to engage in a visceral reflection on presence, support, and the act of being
together.
The project has 3 parts (2 performances and 1 workshop), which can be programmed together in a series as well as singular free standing performance or workshop.
