Fantasievoll erzählt «ZWISCHEN_BÄUMEN», eine poetische Tanzperformance in luftiger Höhe, die Geschichte von Fabelwesen auf ihren Streifzügen. Kaum vermag man zu sagen, ob diese Feen und Kobolde fallen oder schweben, spielen oder fliehen, einander jagen oder lieben, und während das Publikum das wilde Treiben verfolgt, entdeckt es in einer scheinbar alltäglichen Umwelt das Geheimnisvolle wieder. In einer von Realismus und Pragmatismus geprägten Zeit darf in «ZWISCHEN_BÄUMEN» wieder geträumt, an Wunder geglaubt und dem Zauberhaften Raum gegeben werden. Die virtuose Bewegungssprache und die eigens komponierte Musik des Stückes werden noch weit über die Performance hinaus in Erinnerung bleiben.
“ZWISCHEN_BÄUMEN” is a high-altitude, poetic dance performance that depicts the ramblings of mythical creatures through the woods. It’s hard to tell if these fairies and sprites are falling or floating, chasing or fleeing, playing or flirting. The audience follows them as they scamper about, discovering hidden secrets in an apparently ordinary environment. In an era in which realism and pragmatism seem to have the upper hand, the spectators are able to rediscover the possibility of dreaming, wondering and believing in magic. The virtuosic movement vocabulary and the specially commissioned music remain in the audience’s memory long after the end of the performance.
«ZWISCHEN_BÄUMEN» est un spectacle de danse aérienne dans les arbres. Avec leurs mouvements virtuoses, les interprètes racontent l'histoire de créatures fabuleuses, fées et lutins qui tombent ou flottent, se poursuivent ou fuient, jouent ou flirtent. Le public accompagne ces créatures imaginaires et redécouvre un lieu connu sous un nouvel angle. La chorégraphie joue avec toutes les dimensions de l'espace et transporte les spectateurs dans un monde à l'envers, sur une musique composée spécialement pour la pièce. À une époque où le réalisme et le pragmatisme semblent avoir pris le dessus, les spectateurs peuvent redécouvrir la possibilité de rêver, de s'interroger et de croire à la magie.
«ZWISCHEN_BÄUMEN» è uno spettacolo di danza aerea che si svolge sugli alberi. Con i loro movimenti virtuosi, l* interpreti raccontano la storia di creature favolose, fate e folletti che cadono o fluttuano, si inseguono o fuggono, giocano o flirtano. Il pubblico accompagna queste creature immaginarie e riscopre – da una nuova prospettiva – un luogo familiare. La coreografia gioca con tutte le dimensioni dello spazio e trasporta le*gli spettatrici*tori in un mondo al contrario, con una colonna sonora composta appositamente per la performance. In un’epoca in cui il realismo e il pragmatismo sembrano aver preso il sopravvento, il pubblico può riscoprire la possibilità di sognare, di rivolgersi e credere nella magia.

Possible Performance Locations
There should be a minimum of at least three strong trees or posts which can support a 6m-high slackline. The production was originally developed for performances in forests and parks, but a tower, a house, or a wall would also be suitable.
