BARDAK (russ. and hebr. Chaos, Disorder) One day almost all of humanity mysteriously vanished from Earth. A house spirit - Domovoi - wanders among the traces left by mankind and, by chance, discovers a way to bring life and hope back to Earth. This absurd tragicomedy invites the audience to discover a fantastic, bizarre and incomprehensible world of clown. This solo performance ponders today's existential questions in a humorous and ironic way. Here everything happens like in a fairytale, as it were a dream. Sometimes funny, other times exciting, even frightening. It starts with Domovoi, a house gnome, sitting alone and howling at the moon, predicting an impending catastrophe. The next day, a catastrophe strikes and he, Domovoi, wakes up alone in an empty house with no one within miles. At first he is happy because he no longer has to hide and can do whatever he wants. But he soon realises that without human beings his existence has lost all meaning. Where has everyone gone? What is he to do with himself now that he is alone? What can he do to regain humanity, the warmth of a friend? And why has everyone disappeared? Domovoi is a spirit of the house, but the house has become his cage of loneliness. He is immortal, but he cannot even leave his home because he is part of it. He is destined to protect the empty house forever.
