In a time where everything moves at such a fast pace, our society seems to be stuttering more and more. By sharing a haiku, Paul-Emmanuel decides to take time, the only response to this jerky rhythm that sometimes besets him. In the course of this encounter between the audience and the artist, a sincere and fragile universe emerges, inviting us to question our relationship with the world and with ourselves. Paul-Emmanuel does not see stuttering as something dramatic, but speaks about it simply and detachedly, even with humour. With the help of accounts of his experiences as a stutterer, he wants to present a sketch of his oral arrhythmia. The play is conceived as an intimate journey in which Paul-Emmanuel reveals his fragility scene by scene to make stuttering a universal and poetic act.
