This is the story of a young woman who, having an hour to spare before leaving, decides to use this time to get married. But not to just anyone! So she organises a love contest to find out who, among the audience, could become the ideal spouse. Two spectators propose themselves and are put to the test; the young woman encourages them with her bicycle acrobatics while she talks backwards. Who will be the chosen one? This emotionally rich show of circus, clowning and poetry is performed in the language of the venue, be it Neapolitan or Brazilian dialect, Inuktitut or Lingala. Kalabazi has already been performed more than 900 times in 32 countries, 8 languages and 23 dialects.
