What does it actually mean to fall in love? At what point do I fall apart? When do I let myself fall? Do I like letting myself fall? Or would I like to let myself fall? Who can let themselves fall? Falling in Love? Do you just fall into it? And when do you land? Or when is the impact? Six performers and many mattresses in a large hall. The mattress: a place of rest, intimacy, dreams, despair, happiness, abysses, sleeplessness, expectations and falling in love. The title of the piece: Falling in Love. The performers of the Compagnie Trottvoir face falling in love, take off their rose-coloured glasses, distort the love song, let themselves fall into kitsch, realise that they fit well into the standardised image, try to discard the images in their heads and dare to attempt free fall. The mattresses are both a springboard and a soft base.
